See PackagesWhat is the Hour Record?
One of cycling's oldest challenges: cover the maximum possible distance in exactly 60 minutes, riding solo on a velodrome. No teammates, no drafting — just you, your position, your pacing, and the clock. AeroEdge brings the same scientific rigour the world's best use to every attempt.
The reasons are simple
Professional velodrome environment with exclusive track access
Real-time AeroEdge performance monitoring and personalised pacing
Full post-attempt data report — know your numbers before your official attempt

Common questions
- You should be capable of sustaining a hard effort for 60 minutes. For UCI-level attempts, we assess readiness together well in advance.
- The Test Attempt is a monitored effort with no formal distance registration. The Official AeroEdge Attempt adds a professional timing team and certified distance registration.
- National and international commissaires, JIG technical verification, anti-doping control (ADOP/ITA), certified timing, and advance UCI notification. AeroEdge handles all of it.
- Yes. All testing is done on your race setup. For UCI attempts, equipment must comply with UCI Hour Record regulations — we review this with you in advance.
- The next Sunlive AeroEdge Hour Record Day is 4 June 2026 at the Anadia Velodrome. Get in touch to secure your place.
